Welcome to the Omaha District Contest

Important Dates & Times

Welcome to the Nebraska National History Day Registration

If you are looking to register for the Omaha District Contest on the 26th-27th of February - you have come to the right place!

The new registration system for this year will give you a few ongoing benefits:

A - You are creating an account so until registration closes on Feb 7, you will be able to log back in to make changes.

B - Once teachers/judges/volunteers have created an account, it will remain in the system year after year; no need to re-register!  All student accounts and project information will be deleted at the end of the contest year.

Here are a few basics you need to know:

1 - The order of registration is important...  a teacher or guardian must register first, then students.

2 - For each group entry - one student - should be identified as the Project Team Leader.  The Project Team Leader will then share the unique project/team key for the project with the other group members so they can link their information with the project.

3 - Payment can be made by any party either individually, as a group, or divided as needed.  However, students must continue through the payment section (click on pay be check/cash) in order to complete their registration. You can leave the items in the cart updaid. A confirmation email will be sent to the email provided.

4 - Teachers will be able to see all students listed under their name and can modify the information provided by the student, link students to a project, delete a student or complete the payment process as needed.

Welcome to the Nebraska National History Day- Teacher Registration!

If you are looking to register for the OmahaDistrict Contest on the 26th-27th of February - you have come to the right place!  You will register here if you are a teacher or the student's parent or guardian that is sponsoring this.

Good News - once you have registered you will have an account until you asked to be removed! All of the information, including username and password, will carry over year to year.

If you forget your password after creating an account, you can easily reset your password  or contact Abby Jung to reset your user name and password.

Once you have registered, students will be able to proceed with their registration.

We encourage all teachers to register regardless of whether you are a primary teacher or a co-teacher. Please note that this registration system does not allow more than one teacher to be listed with each entry. All efforts will be made to include co-teachers in the printed contest program and press releases.

Suggestions:

Include a second email that is not associated with your school email.  Updates that are sent as a mass email are sometimes rejected by school accounts and you may need to be contacted after school is out if your students qualify for the National Contest.
